Revoluční street is an important gateway to the area of the former Old Town walls which, until the 18th century, led from today’s Štefánikův Most bridge to Most Legií bridge. Now, however, 15 000 cars pass through here every day. There is no direct connection between the street and the river, something essential for pedestrians. The city therefore tasked us with preparing a conceptual study for the transformation of the entire area. We prepared the document in cooperation with the Aoc architekti studio led by Ondřej Císler. The proposal is to widen the sidewalks and plant a new tree alley. A small square on the corner of Klimentská street should also be created. Revoluční street is part of the historic Hradební korzo city promenade, which will also be transformed in the near future.
